Open air charity lesson in Comrat.

We are in the middle of the campaign “Help the bell ring for every child” 5th edition. This time we have decided to diversify the geography of our activities and went to Gagauzia region, where we have joined the celebration of the town by organizing there also our event.

Charity combined with various activities for children has the purpose to raise awareness in the society. PO Filocalia’s volunteers have organized master classes and face painting for local children. Then a symbolic moment followed: children together with parents have lightened candles and fixed them on the huge bell drown on the floor, announcing the beginning of a new school year. By the end of the event we have offered to each child from the beneficiary list school supplies and sweets. We believe the 45 children will wear a smile on the 1st of September.

We are very glad our purpose was targeted. Despite the fact that it was a rainy day, we managed to collect from the local population the amount of 1400 lei and school supplies in total sum of 200 lei. Those resources would be used to help other children from Kirsova and Kongaz localities to go to school.

All we managed to do was also thanks to our local partners: Mayoralty of Comrat, PO ”VESTA”, and thanks to a few people with a big heart: Calancea Corneliu, Cristina Ciobanu, Corina Erșov, Minzu Nadia, Alexei and Elena Moraru, Christians from St. Nicolae church from Costesti village, Ialoveni and of course the great volunteers of PO “Filocalia”.
